UK→France Removals
About us

A route specialist
— not a generalist

We do one thing: UK to France removals. We do it every working week, in both directions, for households relocating permanently and for those moving partial loads on consolidated routing.

How we ended up here
— and stayed focused

UK→France Removals started in 2014 as a small specialist firm focused on Channel-corridor moves. We were not the first; we were not the largest. What we wanted to be was the one that knew the route end-to-end — every UK origin we serviced, every French region we delivered to, every customs filing, every prefecture appointment timeline, every regional access constraint.

Most generalist removers offer France as one of fifty country options. That breadth comes at a cost: the customs broker is shared with twenty other corridors, the destination network is third-party with no real relationship, and the route-specific knowledge that makes a French move smooth — when to use Eurotunnel vs Plymouth-Roscoff, which prefecture in which département has the longest carte de séjour wait, which Lubéron lanes need a smaller vehicle — is thin.

We made the deliberate choice to stay narrow. The team is built around UK-French bilingual coordinators, our route schedules run weekly to every French region, our destination network in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Aix, Nice, Vannes, Caen, and the rest is built up over years of repeat use rather than ad-hoc bookings. Brexit added paperwork; we built the workflow to handle it. The result is a firm that does one thing well and is upfront about what we don't do.

We are BAR Overseas Group members — the international subsection of the British Association of Removers. The membership is a quality marker but more importantly a customer protection: deposits are guaranteed under the BAR Advance Payment scheme, and disputes have a formal independent resolution route.

What we believe

Four principles
that shape every move

One quote, one figure

Door-to-door, customs, insurance — one figure on paper. No surprise add-ons.

Same crew, both ends

The team that loads in the UK hands off to the destination team briefed on your specific job.

Paperwork, ours not yours

EORI, ToR1, douanes — handled. You handle your carte de séjour with the prefecture; everything else is ours.

Specialist, not generalist

We do this corridor every week. The depth of knowledge that comes from focus is what we sell.

Tell us about your move
— we'll come back with one figure.
