Who we are
UK→France Removals is a UK-based specialist removals firm. We are the data controller for any personal information you give us through this site, by phone, by email, or in person.
What we collect
- Contact details — name, phone, email — submitted via the quote form, contact form, or by phone/email.
- Move details — UK postcode, French destination region, approximate volume, dates.
- Payment details — taken securely at point of booking via our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- A single first-party cookie remembering whether you have closed the cookie banner.
Why we collect it
To prepare your quote, plan your move, file customs paperwork, contact you about your booking, and satisfy regulatory obligations. Lawful basis: contract performance and, where applicable, legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
Only the third parties needed to run your move: HMRC for the UK export declaration; the French customs authority (douane) for the transfer-of-residence declaration; destination handling partners briefed on your specific job; the insurer for goods-in-transit cover. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Quote data: two years from your last contact. Move records (invoices, customs paperwork, insurance certificates): seven years, to meet HMRC record-keeping requirements for business and customs records.

Cookies and analytics
Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies (named _ga) to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is not used for advertising or advertising profiling, and nothing loads if you decline or ignore the banner. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the choice will be offered again.
The quote form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam submissions. reCAPTCHA is needed for the form to work securely and is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms.
